I will try posting tomorrow.
Right now I'm drowning in neices and nephews.

Forbidden

Work it, girl (Underground Loop, Chicago)

You're technically not allowed to take photos on the CTA trains. So not only did I have to take this shot all sneaky-like, but I had to work with poor lighting as well. This photo makes up for the lack of crisp lines with some awesome content, though.

(Note the different feel between this and the suburban system.)

The Capital of Cheese

'Forward' (Madison, Wisconsin)

I had a wonderful time in Wisconsin. It was my first time in Madison and despite spraining my ankle, I enjoyed everything I saw there. Great architecture, warm people, and several fun and cheap things to do. Oh, and the food was great.

Paul Bunyan (Wisconsin Dells)

Imagine a Las Vegas for families, that's the Dells. I would go as far to say that any American who has not yet experienced the joy Wisconsin Dells produces has not had a proper childhood.
Go, go now.

Traveling Downtown (Between Glen Ellyn & Lombard, IL)

This is perhaps one of my favorite photos. . .

Hoser (Wheaton, IL)

I could be wrong, but it seemed like the fireman's hose was sticking its tongue out at me.

Stone Head (Wheaton, IL)

I saw this statue in front of a Wheaton College frat house. This is about as wild as it gets for these Bible students.

All Aboard!

Choo-choo (Wheaton, IL)

I'm headed to Madison, Wisconsin tomorrow so I'm posting this a bit early in case I don't get a chance. Bet you can't wait for a entry on cheese curds. . .

Cherry St. Home (Wheaton, IL)

I lived away from the midwest for a bit and when I came back I really appreciated the clean air and blue skies. Never again will I take these for granted!

DP for Me?

Mother and Daughter in Garden (Wheaton, IL)

I just finished my third year of medical school which leaves me with way more time on my hands. I think I will give 'Daily Photo' a shot, at least for the next couple of weeks while I'm on vacation.

The following photos will be taken in my town and the surrounding areas. What you should know is that I'm originally a city slicker, born and raised in the inner-city, but my husband and I moved out to the western 'burbs of Chicago to buy a house within our budget. I never thought I'd be living out here, but I have to say I've been pleasantly surprised.
