Nothing buries artistic talent like long hard hours in clinical training. Medicine is but one part of my life, this is a much needed outlet for my creative side.

The life of an academic is like the life of a dog chasing a frisbee... life throws it, and you have to understand it/chase it down. Once you've gotten a handle on it and chewed it thoroughly, you turn it back over to life and she throws it another way and it's off to chase it down again...
just some thoughts.
